All weekend, trains between London Paddington / Swindon and Cheltenham Spa will not run between Gloucester and Cheltenham Spa.
Most trains from London Paddington / Swindon to Cheltenham Spa (terminating at Gloucester) will depart a few minutes later from Stonehouse and arrive a few minutes later at Gloucester.
Most trains from Cheltenham Spa (starting from Gloucester) to Swindon / London Paddington will depart a few minutes EARLIER from Gloucester.

Replacement buses will run between Gloucester and Cheltenham Spa. In most cases, passengers will need to depart EARLIER from Cheltenham Spa to maintain connections into trains starting from Gloucester.

Planned engineering work will take place between Bristol Temple Meads/Gloucester and Worcester Shrub Hill/Worcester Foregate Street via Cheltenham Spa and Ashchurch For Tewkesbury from 02:00, Saturday 05 October 2024 to 02:15, Monday 07 October 2024.

Additional Information

All weekend, trains between Bristol Temple Meads (or beyond) and Worcester Shrub Hill / Worcester Foregate Street (occasionally to / from Great Malvern) will not run between Gloucester and Worcester / Great Malvern.

Replacement buses will run between Gloucester and Worcester Foregate Street, calling at Cheltenham Spa, Ashchurch for Tewkesbury, Worcester Shrub Hill # and Worcester Foregate Street.

# - At Worcester Shrub Hill, buses towards Worcester Foregate Street will stop to set down passengers only and buses towards Gloucester will stop to pick up passengers only.

In addition, on Saturday, the following trains will not run:
* 0520 Gloucester to Great Malvern
* 0643 Gloucester to Worcester Foregate Street
* 2225 Worcester Shrub Hill to Gloucester

Planned engineering work will take place between London Paddington/Slough/Maidenhead and Reading/Didcot Parkway/Oxford from 00:01, Sunday 06 October 2024 to 05:00, Monday 07 October 2024.
Some lines will be blocked.

Additional Information

Most High Speed services to and from London Paddington will be retimed. Many trains FROM London Paddington will depart up to 10 minutes EARLIER than usual. Most trains will run normally from Reading onwards, but a few trains will be retimed.

Most fast trains between London Paddington and Oxford will NOT run. Trains between London Paddington and North Cotswolds stations (via Oxford) will continue to run, but will not call at Radley.

Additional trains will run between Didcot Parkway, Radley and Oxford.

Local stopping trains between London Paddington, Reading and Didcot Parkway will generally run between Reading and Didcot Parkway only. Slough, Maidenhead and Twyford will be served by other trains instead - see below.

The hourly fast service between London Paddington and Swindon (occasionally beyond) will call additionally at Slough, Maidenhead and Twyford.
