Special Improvement Work will take place at Rainham from 15:00, Thursday 20 March 2025 to 23:59, Thursday 01 May 2025.
Additional Information:
Following a recent inspection of the main building at Rainham station, repair works will be carried out to the main building roof over the next four to six weeks.
While these works are underway, customers are advised that access to the ticket office, gateline and waiting areas may be restricted or changed at short notice. Customers are also reminded to adhere to all safety instructions and any signage providing guidance at the station. The passenger toilets will also be closed during the works.
We would like to apologise for any inconvenience these important maintenance and repair works may cause.

Planned engineering work will take place at Grays from 10:30, Monday 24 March 2025 to 23:59, Friday 30 May 2025.

Grays: Network Rail's Access for All scheme.
As part of Network Rail's Access for All scheme, Grays station will become fully accessible with the addition of two new lifts which will allow c2c passengers to access both platforms via the existing stepped foot tunnel under the tracks.
The subway is being closed to maintain safety of station users while work is underway to install the two new lifts. Access between Grays station platforms is via the level crossing of stepped footbridge whilst works are taking place.

Additional Information:
There is No Step Free Access between the platforms and Upper Levels of Barking station while lift replacement works are being undertaken.

We do have assistance staff to help with luggage and pushchairs. For safety reasons staff are not able to lift these with the children inside.

All services via Ockendon will be terminating at Upminster and restarting from Grays.

From 22:45, a shuttle train service will run between Upminster and Pitsea via Laindon.
