Some services will be revised. Blackpool North Manchester Airport: Trains will run to an amended timetable, will be diverted via an alternative route, and will not call stations via Chorley and Bolton. An hourly train service will be provided between Blackpool North/Preston and Bolton.
Leeds Wigan Wallgate: Trains will be diverted via an alternative route between Manchester Victoria and Wigan Wallgate, and will be extended to terminate at Southport.
Wigan Wallgate Leeds: Trains will start from Southport, and will be diverted via an alternative route between Wigan Wallgate and Manchester Victoria.
Stalybridge Wigan/Southport/Headbolt Lane: Shuttle train services will be provided between:
Stalybridge and Manchester Victoria
Wigan Wallgate and Headbolt Lane
Bolton and Southport.
Buses will be provided between Manchester Piccadilly and Bolton, between Manchester Victoria and Bolton calling at all intermediate stations, and between Manchester and Wigan Wallgate via Atherton.
Manchester Victoria Clitheroe: Trains will start from Bolton.
Clitheroe Manchester Victoria: Trains will terminate at Bolton.
Buses will be provided between Manchester Victoria and Bolton.
